Tunnel Rush is a fast-reaction skill game where every level tests how quickly you spot openings and move before the walls hit you.
The retro 3D tunnel never slows down. Walls rotate toward you while narrow gaps appear without warning. You move left or right instantly, or the run ends.
At first you are simply trying to reach the end of a level. After a few attempts, sections that once felt random start to make sense. Now you can move earlier and with more confidence.
Play Tunnel Rush in your browser at GameHub and put your timing and control to the test!
Instead of running endlessly, Tunnel Rush is structured across 100 levels.
Each level adds new shapes and tighter spaces that force you to move more carefully.
There are no upgrades or power-ups to rely on. Every level is cleared using movement alone.
The game alternates between stages set inside the tunnel and outside it, while the tunnel twists and turns in new ways. This makes it harder to line up your next move.
Crashes take one second to reset, which means you are instantly back inside the tunnel trying to beat the section that just caught you.
Each attempt gives you only a fraction of a second to adjust, so reacting a little earlier makes later levels much easier.
2 player mode turns the same levels into a reaction race.
Both players face identical obstacles at the same time, so the winner is whoever reads the tunnel faster and survives longer.
Simple controls keep the focus entirely on execution
Before starting a level, you can choose a difficulty setting. The setting you choose will dictate how many starts out of 3 you get for completing a level.
| Difficulty | Level reward | About |
|---|---|---|
| Easy | ⭐ | Slowest speed |
| Medium | ⭐⭐ | Medium speed |
| Hard | ⭐⭐⭐ | Fastest speed |
Higher difficulty does not change the level layout. It increases your movement speed, which means gaps arrive sooner and mistakes are harder to correct.
Hard mode gives you less time to react, so positioning must be sharper from the start.
Tunnel Rush was created by Deer Cat Games and released on GameHub in 2019. The game quickly became one of GameHub's most recognised reaction challenges and has received over 1 million player upvotes since release.
Deer Cat Games is an independent game developer from London. The original release gained strong traction on GameHub, leading to the sequel Tunnel Rush 2.
If you enjoy reacting fast and squeezing through narrow gaps., these games apply those same reflexes in different ways.
Super Tunnel Rush applies similar tunnel-navigation skills but adds car racing, requiring you to steer precisely while also racing to finish the track first.
Subway Surfers tests the same forward-reading reflexes in an endless runner format, where survival depends on spotting obstacles early and switching lanes quickly.
